Many of us have encountered health or social care workers who have gone over and above and made a huge difference to our lives; yet we don’t always know their name and they don’t know the impact of their support. 

Often, the only way we are able to show our appreciation for their care is by buying small treats like sweets or biscuits; though many are not permitted to accept gifts, hospitality or other benefits which are sometimes seen to compromise personal or professional integrity.
